Dr. Leslie Lung graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1986 with a special emphasis in contact lenses. He held an internship at Seattle Indian Health Board and an internship at Grace Peck Optometric Clinic in Portland, Oregon. He’s been in private practice since 1986, when he opened Queen Anne Vision Clinic. In 1997, Dr. Lung opened Issaquah Eyeworks with Dr. Teri Yoshimura.
Dr. Lung is one of the first optometrists in Washington to be certified to prescribe Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents for the treatment of eye diseases. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association and Washington Association of Optometric Physicians.
He enjoys playing basketball, tennis, golf, and pinball. He is active at his church, where he serves as a deacon and teaches a high school Sunday school class. He and his wife Linda have two daughters.
Dr. Shivani Sharma, O.D. is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and grew up in Cupertino, CA. She attended the University of California, Irvine where she studied biological sciences. During this time, she participated in glaucoma research at the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at UC Irvine, School of Medicine.
In 2013, Dr. Sharma spent time in Tegucigalpa, Honduras with Global Medical Brigades to provide comprehensive health services alongside local physicians for the rural community of El Coyolito.
She then went on to receive her doctorate of Optometry at UC Berkeley, School of Optometry. Her contributions to the field of vision research continued at UC Berkeley, School of Vision Science and later at the Francis I Proctor Foundation at UCSF. During her clinical externships, Dr. Sharma received extensive clinical training with emphasis in the management of ocular disease at the Veterans Affairs Hospitals in Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and the Meredith Morgan Eye Center at UC Berkeley. She graduated with honors from Beta Sigma Kappa, an international Optometric honor society.
Following the completion of her optometry degree, she completed a residency in primary eye care/ocular disease at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. During her residency, Dr. Sharma provided specialty contact lens care, low vision, and nursing home services in addition to primary eye care to the U.S. veterans of the Greater Los Angeles area. She also published her clinical case report on Limbal Stem Cell Deficiency in the Journal of Clinical and Refractive Optometry for online continuing education. With her residency background and experience in the field of Ophthalmology, she is devoted to delivering comprehensive routine and medical eye care to the Seattle community.
Dr. Sharma is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) and an active member of various optometric associations. She aims to provide the highest quality of eye care and strives to improve the vision and lives of all of her patients.
Dr. Catherine Tsang graduated from UC Berkeley School of Optometry. She went on to complete a residency in primary care at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston, TX, where she gained extensive experience in fitting specialty contact lenses and diagnosing and treating complex ocular disease.
Dr. Tsang comes to us with considerable experience providing consultations, counseling, and post-operative care to cataract and refractive surgery patients as a former staff optometrist at a specialty surgical center.
Dr. Tsang is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Tsang enjoys sipping on coffee, exploring the outdoors with her husband, swimming, and sharing meals with family and friends. She and her husband are dog lovers, who look forward to raising a pup or two in the near future.
